DIFFUSED AIR SYSTEM Product Information

The Diffused Air System promotes a healthy environment throughout the pond. A shore-based compressor forces air through a flexible hose and out micro-porous diffusers. The rising bubble plume transfers oxygen and creates vertical circulation to reduce stratification. The system brings needed oxygen to the pond bottom to help decompose bottom muck, dead plants and other waste materials.

The system is applicable in all water depths, but is recommended for depths greater than 10 feet.

A customized sound-deadening fiberglass cabinet houses the compressor, which is protected by a check valve, air pressure relief valve and thermal overload switch.
