TYPHOON Theory of Operation
The TYPHOON aerator float supports a motor vertically and above the water surface. The motor
features an extended shaft with a submerged propeller affixed to the end. The rotating propeller draws water
up through the aerator intake cone and projects it outward, above the water line. The fine droplet spray
produces low trajectory intense air-to-water mixing, resulting in excellent oxygen transfer. Proprietary
engineering and simple design ensure the TYPHOON Aerator runs right from the beginning and keeps running
without time-consuming maintenance.
In addition, factory testing for each TYPHOON High Speed Surface Aerator checks and rechecks that the equipment meets the
AEROMIX stringent standards for quality. Each aerator is factory tested for correct operation, lubrication, operating
temperature, lack of vibration and dry amp draw.
