TYPHOON Features
The TYPHOON Aerator produces high pumping rates with a low water spray trajectory for intense air-to-water mixing, resulting in
excellent oxygen transfer. It features a stainless steel or fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) foam-filled float with intake cone.
A stainless steel nonclogging impeller sheds debris while pumping huge volumes of wastewater up and out.
All motors are specifically designed for continuous use in wet applications. Motors feature extended shafts eliminating the need
for special aerator shaft bearings in the wastewater. This simple design virtually eliminates maintenance.
Both the motor supports and fasteners are stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. The motors from 2
to 100 horsepower (1.5 to 75 kW), are available in 60 hz at 1200 or 1800 rpm or 50 hz at 1000 or 1400 rpm versions. The
TYPHOON Aerator is used for wastewater treatment, leachate treatment, supplemental aeration, and sequencing batch
reactors (SBRs).
